Day 1: Arrival at Hosea Kutako Int. Airport and Transfer to the Hotel

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako Int. Airport, you will be met by our guide, who will be holding a sign with your name for easy identification. You will receive your tour documents and participate in a briefing prior to transfer to your hotel in Windhoek. Dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse is available at client’s own expense.

Day 2: Journey to the Fish River Canyon

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to your lodge in the spectacular Fish River Canyon, one of the largest and most dramatic canyons in the world. Upon arrival, check in and take some time to relax. You may wish to enjoy a refreshing swim in the lodge’s pool while soaking in the surrounding desert vistas. The remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Day 3: Fish River Canyon Scenic Exploration and Adventure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a guided excursion to the awe-inspiring Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world.

Accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, take in sweeping panoramic views from various lookout points and learn about the region’s fascinating geology, unique flora, and diverse wildlife. All Park entry fees are included.

Day 4: Transfer to Luderizt via Garub Wild Horses

After breakfast, journey towards the charming coastal town of Lüderitz. With your guide’s stories and insights, this encounter offers a fascinating glimpse into their resilience in one of the world’s harshest environments.

Upon arrival in Lüderitz, settle into your hotel and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. In the afternoon, explore the town’s unique blend of history and coastal beauty, including a visit to the windswept Diaz Point, where the Atlantic Ocean crashes dramatically against rugged cliffs. Day 5: Scenic Transfer to Sossusvlei via Kolmanskop

After breakfast, join your guide for a visit to Kolmanskop, the fascinating ghost town once at the heart of Namibia’s diamond rush. Explore its abandoned homes, still partially filled with drifting desert sand, and hear stories of its rise and decline in the early 20th century. Following your tour, continue your journey towards the striking landscapes of Sossusvlei, renowned for its towering red dunes and stark desert beauty.

Upon arrival at your lodge, you may choose to enhance your evening with an optional scenic sundowner drive (at N$ 380 pp.), offering breathtaking views as the sun sets over the Namib Desert – The remainder of the evening is at leisure to relax.

Day 6: Discover the Natural Wonders of Sossusvlei and Sesiem Canyon

Early breakfast at your lodge and depart around 07h00 with your guide for a full-day exploration of the region’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop is Sossusvlei, home to the towering Dune 45, one of the most photographed dunes in the world. Climb to its crest for breathtaking views over the Namib Desert’s sweeping sands. Continue to the ethereal white clay pan of Deadvlei, where centuries-old, sun-bleached camelthorn trees stand in stark contrast against the vivid red dunes and cobalt-blue sky — a scene unlike anywhere else on earth. Conclude your excursion with a visit to Sesriem Canyon, a dramatic natural gorge carved by the Tsauchab River, revealing layers of ancient geological history.

For an optional sunrise experience, consider a hot air balloon ride over the desert. Drift silently above the stunning landscape, taking in panoramic views of the dunes and valleys below. Day 8: Full Day Exploration of Swakopmund

After breakfast at your hotel, prepare for an exhilarating day! Begin with an early morning drive to Walvis Bay, for a scenic marine cruise. Glide across the tranquil waters, taking in the abundant birdlife and, if lucky, sightings of dolphins and seals. Continue with a journey to the stunning Sandwich Harbor, a unique meeting of towering desert dunes and the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views and remarkable photographic opportunities. Onboard, enjoy a selection of refreshments including champagne, cold local beers, soft drinks, fresh oysters, and light finger foods.

In the evening, return to Walvis Bay and make your way to the Ocean Cellar Restaurant for dinner (own account), where you can savor fresh seafood while overlooking the bay.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel

The second day deserves an early start at 07 am visiting Deadvlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy Dunes and Elim Dunes. Optional lunch at Sosssuvlei Lodge. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 3: Swakompmud

Today deserves an early start, after breakfast, we depart to Swakopmund, en route make a stop at Solitaire to taste Africa’s best apple pie and don’t miss the photographic opportunity at Tropic of Capricorn sign. Arriving in Walvis Bay embark on a 4×4 Sandwich harbour Tour. After the activity head to Swakopmund. Dinner at The Tug Restaurant.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Sossusvlei, Elim Dunes

You will meet our tour guide and get assistance at Hosea Kutako International Airport, tour documents will be handed to you for your tour briefing and depart to your accommodation in Sossusvlei. Arrive in Sossusvlei and visit Elim dunes (1 hour) with your guide before checking in at your lodge inside the park.

Overnight: Sossusvlei Lodge

Day 2: Dune 45

Start your day very early at 06H45 and depart with your guide to Dune 45 for a 1-hour sunrise experience, head back to your lodge, breakfast (1 hour). Embark on the Sossusvlei excursion with your guide (visit Deadvlei and Elim Dunes – duration +- 2 hours) with your guide. Lunch at your lodge and afternoon is spent at leisure. Dinner at your lodge.

Day 3: Swakopmund

Leaving the lodge at 08H00, depart to Swakopmund and make a stop at Solitaire for the best Apple Pies in Africa (30 minutes stop), don’t miss the photographic opportunity along the Tropic of Capricorn sign (15 minutes stop). Arriving in Swakopmund, lunch and evening is spent at leisure (visit the museum, shopping or optional activities can be booked). At 18H45 depart for dinner at The Tug Restaurant.

Day 4: Walvis Bay

Today’s day is full of excitement; breakfast at 08H00 and then depart to Walvis Bay for your full day Marine Desert Adventure combo (Boat cruise followed by a 4 x 4 Sandwich Harbour Tour) drinks and finger food will be served on both activities included (08H45 to 16H30). At 18H50 depart for dinner at Ocean Cellar included.

Day 5: Damara Living Museum and Petrified Forest

After breakfast depart at 07H30 to visit the Damara Living Museum and Petrified Forest before heading to Kamajab, for a stop at Otjitotongwe Guest farm at +-13H30 lunch and Cheetah encounter Included. Evening is spent at leisure.

Overnight: Toshari Lodge (Etosha Gateway)

Day 6: Etosha South

At 07H00 depart for a full day game drive in Etosha National Park with your guide, park fees included. Lunch packs and dinner at your lodge included.

Day 7: Windhoek

After breakfast, at 08H00 depart to Omapaha Himba village (learn about the way of life of the Himba tribe and the tour lasts for 1.5 to 2 hours). After the tour, travel back to Windhoek. Make a stop at Okahandja wood carving market for a souvenir or 2. Explore Windhoek city and township with your guide. Dinner at Joe’s Beer House included.

Day 8: Departure

Day 2: Day at Leisure with an optional Windhoek City Tour

With breakfast at Urban Cam, this day will be fully spent at leisure. An optional city tour at 15H30 can be offered on request for an extra cost.

Explore Windhoek on a city tour (optional): This is Namibia’s capital, home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and accommodation options. The city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops, and the widespread use of the German language. Windhoek has an interesting mix of historical architecture and modern buildings, many of which are worth a look, including the Alte Feste (Old Fort), the 1896 Christuskirche (Christ Church), and the more contemporary Supreme Court. The city tour will lead you to iconic landmarks and local markets. Best way to meet the locals.

Day 3: Depart Windhoek to Sossusvlei - Namibia

Have an early breakfast at the camp and check-out. Thereafter, depart Windhoek to Sossusvlei. Arrive and get to your accommodation with the rest of the day at leisure after check-in. You may have an optional scenic sundowner for an extra cost.

Day 4: Explore the Magical Sossusvlei – Dunes and Canyon

Have breakfast at the camp and go out to explore the magical Sossusvlei with the surrounding iconic wonders. Sossusvlei is where you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib Desert. The clear blue skies contrast with the giant red sand dunes to make this one of the natural wonders of Africa and a photographer’s paradise. Aside from the attractions at Sossusvlei – Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy and Deadvlei – other attractions in the area include the Sesriem Canyon and Namib-Naukluft N. Park, where the mountains of the Namib meet the plains.

Return to the camp towards the evening and you will spend it at leisure.

Day 5: Journey to Swakopmund via Solitaire’s Apple Pie

Founded in 1892 as the main harbour for German South West Africa, Swakopmund is often described as being more German than Germany. Now a seaside resort, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area and has plenty to keep visitors happy. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, colonial-era buildings and the cool sea breeze make it very popular.

After breakfast and check-out; depart to Swakopmund. En-route, make a stopover at Solitaire for the best Apple pie in Africa; do not miss the photographic opportunity at the Tropic of Capricorn sign. Still en-route, in Walvis Bay visit the Lagoon before proceeding to your Guesthouse. In the evening you will explore the beach on foot. Dinner at own cost – we recommend The Tug Restaurant.

Day 6: Explore the best of Swakopmund

Starting with breakfast at the hotel, depart to Walvis Bay at 08h00 for the full day – Marine Desert Adventure (Boat cruise) This is followed by a Sandwich Harbour Tour at which you will sample champagne, soft drinks, cold beers, fresh Oysters and finger foods as included. Dinner at own cost – we recommend Tiger Reef Bar & Grill.

Day 7: Depart Swakopmund to Damaraland via Twyfelfontien

Departing from Swakopmund, head to Damaraland. Make a stopover en-route to visit Twyfelfontein; a UNESCO heritage site, and the Burnt Mountain, together with the Organ Pipes. Thereafter, continue with the rest of the journey to lodge with the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner served at the lodge after refreshing up.

Day 8: Etosha National Park

After breakfast and checking out, depart to Etosha. Optional activity: En-route stopover at Himba village for a cultural experience; meeting and interacting with the locals. From Himba, continue to the lodge in Etosha and check in with the evening spent at leisure.

Day 9: Full Day Safari in Etosha National Park

At 07H00 depart for a full day guided game drive in Etosha National Park; spend the day adventuring through the varied wildlife and other nature wonders of the park. Etosha National Park can be accessed via the southern entrance at Andersson’s Gate. Visitors can catch a glimpse of a variety of wildlife including: lion, giraffe, elephant, white and black rhino, and a multitude of plains game. Popular activities include: enjoying an open 4×4 safari with an expert guide, half day or full day. You may have a picnic within the park during the safari – at own cost.

Returning to the lodge will be towards the evening. Dinner included.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we depart for Sossusvlei, travelling from the small red dunes of the east to the towering dunes in the west. Our journey will take us through the Khomas Hochland and down the escarpment via a scenic mountain pass.

You will then arrive at the lodge where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Explore the Scenic Sossusvlei

After breakfast, depart to your accommodation in Sossusvlei. Sossusvlei is where you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib. Aside from the attractions at Sossusvlei like Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy and Deadvlei – other attractions in the area include the Sesriem Canyon and Namib-Naukluft National Park, where the mountains of the Namib meet its plains.

Day 4: Transfer to Swakopmund

After breakfast depart to Swakopmund, en route make a stop at Solitaire for the best Apple pie in Africa and do not miss the photographic opportunity at the Tropic of Capricorn sign. In Walvis Bay visit the Lagoon before proceeding to your Guesthouse. In the evening, you can explore the beach on foot. For dinner, we recommend The Tug Restaurant (own account).

Day 5: Explore more of Swakopmund

We spend the day exploring the beauty of Swakopmund, a picturesque seaside town known for its German colonial architecture, palm-lined streets, and its stunning beaches.

The town has a lot to offer, such as an excellent aquarium and museum. It is also possible to plan a variety of optional activities.

Day 6: Damaraland

Departing from Swakopmund, head to Damaraland en route visit Twyfelfontein UNESCO heritage site, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes (Park fees included). Dinner at your lodge included. Twyfelfontein is a spectacularly scenic area in Namibia featuring one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa. The name ‘Twyfelfontein’ translates to ‘Fountain of Doubt’, which refers to the perennial spring situated in the impressive Huab Valley flanked by the slopes of a sandstone Table Mountain.

Day 7: Palmwag

After visiting the Twyfelfontein UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa’s greatest and most significant concentrations of rock art, we make our way to Palmwag. After settling in at the lodge, we will go on an afternoon tour of the desert with local guides from the Torra Conservancy.

Located in the northern Damaraland region is the Palmwag Concession. This region of the world is endowed with breathtaking beauty and table mountains. Numerous types of abundant wildlife can be found here including the endangered black rhino, mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, giraffe, lion, and elephants adapted to the desert.

Day 8: Transfer to Etosha South

After breakfast depart to Etosha en route optional Himba village visit N$/ZAR 300 per person payable at the village. Check in at your lodge and evening is spent at leisure. Visitors can catch a glimpse of a variety of wildlife including: lion, giraffe, elephant, white and black rhino, and a multitude of plains game. Popular activities include: enjoying an open 4×4 safari with an expert guide, half day or full day drives with the option of a picnic lunch with wine on the full day game drive.

Day 9: Etosha National Park

At 07H00 depart for a full day game drive in Etosha National Park with your rented vehicle. Park Fees N$/ZAR 150 per person and N$/ZAR per vehicle payable at the gate not included. Dinner at your lodge included.

Day 10: Okonjiima Nature Reserve

After a hearty breakfast, we will ser off for Okonjima Nature Reserve and the AfriCat Foundation. The AfriCat Foundation works towards long-term protection of some of Namibia’s great predators, such as the cheetah, leopard, and brown hyena.

While here, you will have the opportunity to participate in an Africat Cheetah Conservation programme to gain additional knowledge about Okonjima’s efforts to safeguard and educate farmers about the endangered cheetah population.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport for onward travels as your trip has come to an end. We hope you have had a memorable tour and have a safe flight back home.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Sossusvlei, Elim Dunes

You will meet our tour guide at the airport and then set off for your accommodation in Sossusvlei. Arrive in Sossusvlei and visit Elim dunes (1 hour) with your guide before checking in at your lodge inside the park.

Sossusvlei is located in the scenic Namib-Naukluft National Park. Here you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib contrasting with clear blue skies. These unique dunes rise to almost 400 metres, making them some of the highest in the world.

Day 2: ExploreSossusvlei, Dune 45

After having breakfast, we set off to start our adventure of this iconic landscape which is made up of white plains and red dunes which tower majestically against a deep blue sky. We will stop at the famous Dune 45, a beautiful star dune which reaches over 170 metres in height.

We will also visit the picturesque Dead Vlei. This white clay pan lies between towering orange dunes and is dotted with the skeletal remains of hundreds of dead camelthorn trees, making it a striking vista and photographer’s dream.

Day 3: Transfer to Swakopmund

We will travel across the Tropic of Capricorn as we make our way to Swakopmund. We will make a stopover at Walvis Bay to see the salt works and take in the views of flamingos and other birds in the lagoon. After this, we can settle at the lodge and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 4: Explore Swakopmund

Today’s day is full of excitement; breakfast at 08H00 and then depart to visit the vast seal colony at Cape Cross, north of Swakopmund. Here you are able to get up close to thousands of wild Cape fur seals and observe them in their natural environment.

Swakopmund is a charming seaside town characterised by German colonial architecture, palm-lined streets, great restaurants, plenty of shops and beautiful beaches. You will be free to explore this town for the rest of the day. It offers plenty to do including a good museum and aquarium. Various optional activities can also be arranged like a boat tour, scenic flights, fishing trips, quad-biking in the desert, sandboarding and skydiving. All extra activities in Swakopmund are subject to availability and are made at the client’s own and expense.

Day 5: Transfer to Etosha National Park

At after breakfast, we depart for Etosha at 08H00. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch along the way. After lunch, we will go on a late-afternoon game drive. It is highly advised to visit the floodlit waterhole after dinner, as there is a good chance of watching lions and rhinos come to drink.

Day 6: Game Viewing in Etosha National Park

Today will be a day full of game viewing. Etosha National Park has 110 kinds of reptiles, 340 species of birds, and over 100 species of mammals. The lion, elephant, leopard, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, springbok, zebra, and eland are among the larger mammals. The park’s numerous waterholes are essential to the survival of animals, especially in the dry season as they make for excellent spots to see wildlife.

The Etosha Pan, a large white depression that was once a lake, dominates the park. Currently a dry, dusty pan made of clay and salt, it periodically fills with water after a significant downpour. Many thousands of wading birds, especially flamingos, are drawn to this transient body of water.

Day 7: Departure

After a delicious breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the Airport. We hope you have had a memorable trip and have a safe flight back home.

Day 1: Arrival in Namibia: Windhoek City Tour

Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide. Before departing for your accommodation at Weinberg Windhoek, you will receive your tour documents and have a briefing to prepare you for the journey ahead.

After check-in, set off on a Guided Windhoek City Tour, offering insights into the capital’s history, architecture, and cultural landmarks. In the evening, unwind with a delightful dinner at the iconic Joe’s Beerhouse (meal priced at N$400); known for its vibrant atmosphere and authentic Namibian cuisine.

Day 2: Journey to Etosha South National Park

Day 3: Full – Day Exploration of Etosha East National Park

Throughout the day, explore a variety of waterholes and ecological zones that attract a wide range of species—including elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and an abundance of birdlife. Your guide will share fascinating insights into animal behavior, tracking techniques, and the park’s unique ecosystems as you traverse the diverse terrain in search of memorable wildlife encounters. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic site within the park. Later return to your lodge and spend the evening at leisure.
