Day 3 | Kampala
After breakfast, clients will depart for a City tour of Kampala ‘the capital city’ of Uganda to include visit to Uganda museum, Bahai temple, Kasubi tomb, Rubaga church, Wamala tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Hindu temple and African craft market.

Day 4 | Kampala – Lugasi – Jinja – Kakira -Kampala
Today we will travel to Jinja. Coming from Kampala, the Owen Falls Dam forms a spectacular gateway to the town; but do not take pictures – people have been arrested for doing so. Visit the historic source of the Nile River and Jinja city tour. Visit the Mahatma Gandhi Monument, Itanda Falls (Bujagali Falls destroyed to pave way for Hydro-electric project

Day 5 | Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park.
An early departure and drive via Kampala through the Ugandan remote villages towards Murchison Falls National Park. Ferry crossing will be done at 12:00 hours arriving the lodge early enough for lunch which will take at most 45 minutes. Then you’ll proceed to Murchison’s National Park, to catch the schedule waterfall cruise at 14:00 hours upstream to the “bottom of the falls”. The Nile here gets calm at the base of the falls, we stop a few meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”, where it compresses 47 m to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 m with a thunderous roar. En-route, marvel at the, hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephants as well as a lot of bird species like Goliath heron, pelican bee– eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. At this point we will get off the boat and, hike to the “top of the falls” to catch a close view of the beauty that forms the Murchison Falls. This is a guided walk that takes about one and a half-hour. Our driver will pick us from the top and then drive to cross the ferry and check in at your Safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 | Lira – Soroti – Mbale.
An early morning game drive in the northern bank of river Nile as we look out for the elephant, lion, Cape buffalo, Rhothschild giraffe, hartebeest, Oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, spotted hyena and if we are lucky even spot the leopard. Return to the lodge for breakfast, collect packed lunches and depart. Proceed via Lira to Soroti. A small orientation of Soroti and drive to Mbale, arriving late in the evening at hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 | Mbale – Tororo – Malaba – Eldoret.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Eldoret, Kenya. On the way we will stop at Tororo. Watch out for the Tororo rock. We cross the border at Malaba to Kenya and continue our drive to Eldoret town. The Maasai originally referred to this area as eldore (stony river) after the nearby Sosiani River, but this proved too linguistically challenging for the South African Voortrekkers who settled here in 1910 and they named their settlement Eldoret instead. Day 8 | Eldoret – Kisumu.
After a city tour of Eldoret and a visit to few temples we will proceed to Kisumu in the afternoon. Driving throught the scenic route and passing many small towns.Overnight in Kisumu.

Day 9 | Kisumu.
The Railway first reached Port Florence (old name of Kisumu) in 1901, set on the sloping shore of Lake Victoria’s Winam Gulf. This small town has become one of the busiest on the western part of Kenya as gaetway to Uganda, Ruwenzori and Burundi. Today you will visit the town and all the temples – Jain, Hindu and the Gurudwala and shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 10 | Kisumu – Kericho – Nakuru.
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Kericho and visit the tea plantations. After the Tea Plantation visit, we continue onto Nakuru. On arrival, have an orientation tour of Nakuru. Overnight in Nakuru

Day 11 | Nakuru – Nyahururu (Thmopson Falls) – Nyeri.
Morning drive to see the pink flamingoes in Lake Nakuru national park. We proceed towards Nyeri. Along the way we will stop at Nyahuru and visit the Thompson Falls. Tonight we go and experience the stay in Ark Lodge. Built on wooden structure the serene place next to the water hole and saltlick has a lot of animal activity taking place.

Day 12 |Nyeri – Karatina – Thika – Nairobi.
We check out from the Ark Lodge and head to Nairobi. On the way we pass by Karatina, Sagana and stop at Thika. We visit the Chania falls and the Jain emple before we proceed to Nairobi.

Day 14 | Nairobi – Maasai Mara.
After breakfast depart for the famous and fabled Masai Mara National Reserve, rich with wildlife, birds, natural flora and stunning scenic beauty. Masai Mara a large game reserve 520 Kilometre Square in area is home to some of the best wildlife namely Masai lions, African leopards, cheetahs, and zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest. On arrival at the lodge have lunch and a siesta and followed by an afternoon game drive seeking the big five, (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and black rhinoceros) to name a few. Depending on the time of the year we might be also able to see the migration. Return to the lodge in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 15 | Maasai Mara.
After breakfast have a morning game drive, on returning to the lodge and have time to enjoy the lodge facilities. After lunch have an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

Day 16 | Maasai Mara – Nairobi.
After breakfast we depart for Nairobi for one night.

Day 17 | Nairobi – Makindu – Voi – Tsavo – Mombasa.
Today early morning we depart for Mombasa by road. We will stop at Makindu gurudwala for a snack and pass by Sulltan Hamud and Emali. Half way to Mombasa is Mtito Andei and an orientation tour to Voi. Passing through the Tsavo National Park on both sides of the highyway. We wll stop for prayers at Mackinon Road and pass Mariakani before reaching Mombasa.

Day 18 |Mombasa City tour.
After breakfast you head towards centre of the town. Mombasa is the second largest town in Kenya and is located off the coast of Kenya. It is connected via a ferry to the south side of Mombasa called Likoni, and a causeway to the north called Makupa. On the tour, you will visit the following places: the Fort Jesus, the Mwembe Tayari open-air market, the local bazaars, handicraft carvers, walk through the famous curvy alley-roads, and the business district. Drive along Makupa, Makadara and Kilindini area, Visit the hindu and jain temple Evening you head towards Light house to have some Mogo and Madaf. Later return back to your hotel.

Day 1 –Depart for Fort Portal

Day 4 – Gorilla Tracking
Board ferry back to Nakiwogo landing SiteAfter your breakfast, ready with your packed lunch and drinking water since long hours will be spent in search of these giants, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-gorilla tracking briefing at 8am. After briefing, the rangers will then lead you into the forest to track these gentle giants the Mountain gorillas. Experience the thrill of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other, you are allowed an hour witnessing of the interaction of these close relatives to human, there after you can engage in a community walk if time permits so to explore culture incase time is on your side. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Return back to Kampala

Day 1 –Drive from Kampala to Murchison falls
Your platinum safaris guide/driver will pick you up early in the morning, and drive you to Murchison falls national park on this day you will pass via Masindi and have a stop for lunch depending on the departure time, drive through the park as you will be enjoying a game drive heading to your lodge.

Day 2 –Game Drive and Boat Cruise
On this day you will have early morning breakfast, later proceed for a spectacular for the game drive we have to cross the Nile; special are here the lions and giraffes. Animals in the afternoon we have the remarkable launch trip on the Nile to the falls. Hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants and many birds will be seen, in the evening later transfer to Paraa safari lodge for your overnight

Day 3 –Drive from Murchison to fort portal 3 hrs 30 minutes
After breakfast at your accommodation, our experienced guide and driver will be ready to embark on your journey to Fort Portal. As we leave Murchison Falls, you will be treated to breath taking views of the park’s savannah, Nile River, and some wildlife sightings. Continuing our journey, you will start to notice the landscape change as we enter the Albertine Rift.

Day 4 –Drive from Fort Portal to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast, You will depart from Fort Portal, you will be surrounded by tea plantations and stunning crater lakes as you exit the city, you will encounter the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains, often shrouded in mist, which adds a surreal atmosphere to the trip and landscape. One of the highlights of this drive is the passage through Kasese Town. Upon reaching the park’s vicinity, you will be welcomed by savannah grasslands, sightings of wildlife like antelopes and elephants.

Day 5 –Full day activities in Queen Elizabeth
Early Morning wake up and enjoy your hearty breakfast, and proceed to queen for your morning game drive in search of wild animals like elephants, lions, etc. have lunch and in the afternoon you will enjoy a launch along the Kazinga channel while seeing hippos sunbathing at the banks of the channel, later in the evening proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 –Drive from Queen Back to Kampala

Early morning have breakfast, have some time at the lodge later As you depart from the park, the scenic drive will take you through the town of Mbarara, known as the “Land of Milk and Honey” , you will encounter the magnificent Ankle longhorn cattle milk, Ilonggo Cultural Centre, the region’s rich heritage site. Finally, the drive to Kampala will reveal the transition from the countryside to the bustling capital city.

Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Early morning depart for a half day drive west via Mubende to Fort Portal, passing though the scenic countryside of Rwenzori Mountains. Known as the “Mountains of the Moon”, the Rwenzori mountain range in Central Africa is the source of the Nile River. We relax in the afternoon.

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Tracking and Nature Walk
We enter Kibale Forest National Park Forest for primate viewing in the morning. We search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabey. After lunch, we visit to Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site and explore the areas rare and beautiful flora and fauna. A variety of bird species flourish among these trees.

Day 4 – Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This morning, we will leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. Bird life and primate life in Bwindi is quite superb, and there is an incredible variety of flora. Once continuous with the forests of the Virunga Volcanoes (Dian Fossey’s stomping ground), Bwindi is now an ecological island, surrounded by cultivation on the rich volcanic soils.

Day 5 – Gorilla Trekking
We head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority before setting off to the forest see the gorillas. The ranger guides will take you through the forest to track gorillas, which can take from half an hour to five hours. A reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. If you have the afternoon free, you will take a guided village walk to see how the Ugandans live.

Day 6 – Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park back To Entebbe
Early in the morning have breakfast at leisure and enjoy your by road back to Kampala while enjoying the magnificent views of the hills. (-/+08 hours) you will have a stop for lunch at a selected restaurant and later proceed to Entebbe for your Outbound flight.

Day 4 Depart for Volcanoes National Park
On this day, we drive to kisoro and cross the Uganda- Rwanda border to ruhengeri in Rwanda. Ruhengeri is a city in northern Rwanda’s musanze district and serves as the base for gorilla trekking. The drive is scenic, and we arrive in the late afternoon or early evening. We can stroll around the lodge or relax and take in the panoramic sunset over the volcanoes.

Day 5 Full day Activities Gorilla trekking
Early in the morning, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary of parc national des volcanoes. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience. The time spent in the forest depends on the location of the gorillas, and can take from as little as a half an hour up to five hours. If you have the afternoon free, you can choose to drive around.

Day 6 Transfer to Kampala
We will depart to Kampala, with lunch en route, arriving in the evening. Transfer to the airport if applicable.

On this day you will drive towards the south western part of the country in the mist forest you will enjoy your drive while passing through Hoima (-/+ 7 hours ) as you go through fort portal as well where you will stop and have lunch and stretch yourselves then proceed to Bwindi for an overnight

Early morning drive from Bwindi heading to Lake Mburo in Kiruhura where you will have a stop at Mbarara and later proceed to relax at a selected lodge

You will enjoy a morning game drive where you will meet the impalas , zebras, elephants and many other species later in the afternoon enjoy a sunset launch for -/+2 hours later transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 9 –Drive back to Entebbe
You will drive from Lake Mburo to Entebbe for your outbound flight depending on your flight you will have a stop in Kampala for a snack later with Platinum safaris representative up to the airport for your outbound flight

Enjoy an early breakfast and transfer to Nakiwogo Landing site, board a ferry that leaves at 2pm for Lutoboka bay on Bugala Island. Depending on the choice of accommodation, drive a few meters from the landing site along the beach and check into the hotel for an overnight

Day 2 – Boat Ride
After an early breakfast, embark on a half day boat ride around 3 islands, Visit one of the fishing villages, visit one settlement island and an empty island; get opportunities of bird watching and forest walk. Have lunch at the island. Enjoy an evening canoe ride watching the sunset.

Day 3 – Nature Walk
Enjoy an early breakfast and embark on a morning nature walk in the forests, after the trek return to the lodge for lunch and go a village tour on motor bikes, visit the palm tree and pineapple plantations, tour one of the major fishing villages on Bugala islands. Return to hotel for dinner.

This is a full day activity of the most exciting, heart-pounding white water rafting experience where you will have a stopover for lunch and barbeque at the end of rafting and get a chance of viewing captions of your entire experience later transfer to the lodge
